Case history
With its smart safety bracelets for cyclists and e-scooter riders, Flasher has set a new standard in road safety. The young start-up is dynamic and relies on innovative ideas – things are definitely on the right track. However, the team is worried about their packaging. What, from an expert point of view, is missing from their existing packaging? What could be improved? How can the design be made more appealing? The packaging should also feature a quick and easy to understand product guide, but what could suitable illustrations look like?
Recommended therapy
Together with Fabian Wöckl, the experts put the packaging through its paces: they analyzed the design, pointed out current weaknesses and made suggestions for improvement. Appropriate styles were discussed, as were new ways of better emphasizing the product’s high degree of innovation and the product’s safety properties with the packaging. The design doctors also have a passion for creative illustrations, and they presented their ideas to Mr. Wöckl.
“Especially as a newcomer and start-up, searching for qualified experts in design, marketing and branding is not easy. The Design Clinic helped us overcome this hurdle. After a brief consultation with Bettina Janisch, a suitable partner was found in Unerwartet Design, who was able to answer our packaging questions.”
